The company has a solid reputation in the aerospace industry for providing a broad range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators and airframe manufacturers. Talent Acquisition SpecialistSloughContract to permGlobal aerospace businessMain ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting candidates to resource with a highly capable and diverse workforce. Main responsibilities will include sourcing talented candidates through effective collaboration with hiring managers and using a range of media, networking, headhunting and through referrals.Main Duties/Responsibilities• Lead the candidate experience to ensure that it enhances MRO’s reputation of an employer of choice and optimises acceptance of offers.• Direct searches for candidates. • Developing a good understanding of the business, the industry and the work culture and environment.• Using social media to post positions, attract candidates and build networks and relationships.• Careers fairs – identify, attend and suggest ways we can improve our marketing at these events.• Headhunting – identifying and approaching candidates appropriate to our open vacancies.• Employer branding to enhance • Build up a candidate database to support future activity.• Receiving and reviewing applications, managing first line screening and interviews and providing the hiring manager with a short list of relevant candidates.• Identify and implement recruitment initiatives to support improvements in diverse hiring.• Publicise job opportunities internally across MRO Europe on a regular basis.• Working towards and exceeding KPI’s set for the role such as time to fill, cost per hire, diverse hiring, retention of talent and candidate satisfaction.• Manage the end-to-end recruitment of open roles, including working with managers to understand business needs, supporting managers/HR to draft Job Descriptions/Specifications, conducting right to work checks and offer management.• Conduct compensation benchmarking assessments and present information.• Review/research competitors to obtain best practices within recruitment and report on how they could be implemented within MRO• Review recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of recruitment programmes and make recommendations/update where required, including areas such as the Employee Referral Policy. • Put in place MRO standard recruitment Terms and Condition’s when working with external agencies. • Identifying and partnering with external providers on exceptional occasions to ensure hiring needs are met.• Ensure the recruitment vacancy and applicant tracking software is kept up to date for all roles and updated in line with company process. Other Responsibilities/Non-essential Functions• Undertake training that is identified as a requirement of the role as identified by the role Manager.• Undertake all other reasonable requests that are made by the role manager/acting manager or Directors.• At times of reduced department staff attendance there will be a need to be flexible and provide support outside of the normal tasks of the job to ensure customer satisfaction.• On occasion you may be required to take on ad hoc duties which includes, but is not limited to training, department associated tasks and brief secondment to other departments.Standard Company Responsibilities • Take responsibility for understanding the Business Management System and how it is applied to the role.• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements at all times.• There is a responsibility on all employees to bring to the attention of their manager any issues that could potentially affect the business, regardless of how small they may seem at the time.• All duties within this job description should be carried out in line with any Company policies and procedures in place at the time and in line with any requirements set out in the Business Management System.
