About the Role:
Right Now Group are recruiting a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our valued logistic clientOur client is a dynamic logistics company specialising in the storage, handling, and distribution of premium gaming and event equipment.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This role is split between warehouse duties and forklift operation helping to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking & Packing: Preparing event goods such as props, gaming chairs, equipment cases, controllers, cables, games, printers, and consoles for dispatch.
- Forklift Driving: Unloading and loading Luton vans and other vehicles and placing goods into the correct designated storage areas.
- Operate a forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Maintain accurate stock control and record-keeping.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Working closely with and reporting to the Operations Director on day-to-day duties achieved.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and Reach).
- Previous 1-2 year forklift driving experience.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required.
- Driving licence is not essential but would be beneficial.
