Are you an experienced and resilient teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A fantastic SEMH primary school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and confident Class Teacher to join their nurturing and skilled team.

The school caters for primary-aged pupils (4-11) with EHCPs, offering a holistic, therapeutic, and curriculum-rich environment that helps each child thrive both emotionally and academically. This includes bespoke support programmes, dual placements, and reintegration opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering a differentiated curriculum tailored to pupils with complex behavioural and emotional needs

  • Creating a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment

  • Supporting children to regulate their emotions and behaviour through consistent routines and positive reinforcement

  • Working closely with therapists, support staff, and families to provide wraparound support

  • Promoting respect, resilience, and confidence in every child

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has strong behaviour management skills and experience in SEMH or additional needs settings

  • Can confidently teach across the primary age range (KS1-KS2)

  • Is nurturing, calm, and adaptable in challenging situations

  • Understands the importance of therapeutic approaches and trauma-informed practice

  • Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
