Joinery workshop foreman

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Joinery workshop foreman to join our clients team. You will be responsible for quality checks, reading drawings, setting up machinery and reporting to the workshop manager.

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of skilled operatives & laborers

- Ensure that work is carried out according to specifications and deadlines

- Inspect work progress and quality to maintain high standards

- Create and manage quality inspection reports

- Implement health and safety regulations

- Liaise with workshop manager and contracts team to communicate progress and issues

- Working on the tools when required, operating machinery when required Skills: - Proven experience in a supervisory role within a joinery workshop

- Eye for detail and identifying NCR's in joinery manufacturing

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment Experience working in a joinery workshop is absolutely essential for this role.
