Job Title: M&E Contracts ManagerLocation: Slough (Office-based) with regular site visits across LondonSalary: £60,000 per annum + £5,500 car allowanceBenefits: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), car allowance, pension scheme, and performance-related incentivesJob Overview:We are seeking an experienced and driven M&E Contracts Manager to join our growing team. Based out of our Slough office, you will oversee multiple Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects across London. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and client-facing skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of M&E contracts, from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and handover, ensuring compliance, safety, and client satisfaction throughout.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management and delivery of M&E projects across a portfolio of commercial and public sector sites.
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and quality control processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and installation schedules.
  • Monitor labour, materials, and subcontractor performance.
  • Conduct site visits across London to monitor progress and quality of works.
  • Lead contract review meetings and provide project updates to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an M&E Contracts Manager or Project Manager within the building services industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budgeting experience.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree level preferred).
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (desirable).
