Trade Counter Sales assistant

UK Roofing and Plastic Supplies Ltd are a growing family run roofing supplies specialist established in 1977 and are looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our busy team in Slough.

The ideal candidate would have previous sales experience (preferably with merchant or DIY sales background) although this is not essential, be customer oriented, work well as part of a team, be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and able to work well in a busy environment. Speaking Urdu or Punjabi would be an advantage.

The job includes (as part of a team):

Assisting customers with enquiries and winning orders

Pro-active sales calls

Managing and ordering stock

Planning the delivery schedule

Assisting with stock taking

Daily Banking

Daily Stock Checks

Picking orders for customers when warehouse staff are busy

Full training will be given

Wage would be negotiated dependant on experience and could be reviewed further for the right candidate ie/. Experience in the roofing/merchant industry etc.

A full driving licence is required.

Hours:

Mon-Fri: 7:00-16:30

Sat: 8:00-12:00 ( 2 on, 1 off )
