Are you a master of turning complex schedules into streamlined solutions?We’re looking for a proactive and analytical Resource Planner to join one of our key aviation clients based at Heathrow. If you thrive in high-pressure environments and have a talent for optimising workforce operations, this could be your ideal next move.

Hours: Monday - Friday, office-based (40 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing:
  • Produce and control manpower plans and staff rosters across ground handling operational departments.

  • Ensure workforce plans are aligned with business schedules, budget targets and operational needs.

  • Monitor and manage full-time and part-time staffing levels using company planning systems.

  • Generate accurate forecasts and staffing models based on schedule changes and headcount requirements.

  • Identify training needs and set annual leave thresholds to ensure sufficient coverage.

  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to communicate resource changes and planning decisions.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and workforce flexibility.

What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in manpower planning, roster control and resource forecasting.

  • Strong Excel and IT skills; planning software experience a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and management teams.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex staffing data and provide actionable insights.

  • Understanding of working hours legislation and ground handling workforce requirements.

  • Aviation experience (especially in ground handling) is highly desirable.
