We're seeking a confident and capable Number 1 Site Manager to oversee the delivery of industrial units valued up to 10 million. This is a permanent position reporting directly to an on-site Project Manager, offering long-term career growth within a dynamic and supportive construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel with a hands-on approach.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure smooth communication and reporting.
- Monitor progress and resolve any site issues proactively.
- Ensure accurate documentation and site records are maintained.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and site logistics.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive performance on-site.
