Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding teaching and learning to engage and challenge their pupils
- Promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in your students
- Adapt your teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- Make effective use of assessment to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive and safe learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven track record of successful teaching in a primary school setting
- Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Passion for inspiring and engaging children in their learning
- Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery
- Commitment to promoting the school's values and ethos
- Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school
