Technical Manager - High-End Residential | Buckinghamshire£70,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance | Family-Owned Developer | Career Progression

An established, family-run residential developer is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the design and delivery of high-spec, multi-unit housing projects. Reporting directly to the directors and managing a Technical Coordinator, this role offers significant autonomy and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical drawings and consultant input, ensuring cost-effective and buildable solutions

  • Review and manage information in line with planning approvals and building regulations

  • Liaise with statutory bodies and local authorities to secure service connections and section agreements

  • Oversee and update all technical documentation, including Health & Safety plans

  • Manage consultant performance, budgets, and payment processes

  • Ensure marketing materials and brochures reflect accurate technical details

  • Obtain necessary licences for scaffolding, hoardings, and road closures

  • Ensure NHBC (or equivalent) approvals are secured on time

  • Provide support to internal teams across commercial and construction functions

  • Mentor and develop the Technical Coordinator
