Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of households living in temporary accommodation, providing advice and guidance on housing options and tenancy sustainment
- Carry out regular property inspections to ensure standards, health and safety, and contractual obligations are met
- Act as the main point of contact for households, landlords, and accommodation providers, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor occupancy, voids, and usage of temporary accommodation to ensure efficient use of resources
- Work closely with colleagues across Housing Solutions, Repairs, and external partners to support households into settled housing
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in line with policies, procedures, and data protection requirements
- Experience working in housing management, homelessness, or temporary accommodation services
- Knowledge of housing legislation, homelessness duties, and safeguarding responsibilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with vulnerable households and partner agencies
- Good organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- IT proficient with experience of using housing management systems or similar databases
- A team player with a customer-focused approach and commitment to achieving positive outcomes for residents
