We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate English Teacher to join a brand new, purpose-built special needs school in Slough. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a founding team supporting KS3 and KS4 students with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay.

As an English Teacher in this specialist setting, you'll deliver creative, accessible and meaningful lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students. The focus is on developing communication, literacy and confidence, alongside core academic skills, in a calm, structured environment.

You'll teach small groups of students, supported by experienced teaching assistants and a dedicated SEN team, with the freedom to adapt the curriculum and lesson content in ways that genuinely connect with learners.

  • A qualified English Teacher (QTS essential)
  • A teacher with a passion for SEN education and inclusive teaching

  • Someone who's imaginative, adaptable, and focused on the small wins that make a big difference

  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 - SEN experience welcome but not essential if you're ready to learn
