Job Description:

We are currently looking for a qualified and passionate English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Slough starting September, 2025. This full-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher who is committed to raising student achievement through engaging and inspiring lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Plan and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum

• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and achievement

• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential

• Proven experience as an English Teacher in UK secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• Punctual and reliable, with a genuine passion for education
