We are seeking a talented and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving and supportive secondary school in Datchet, Berkshire. Rated Good by Ofsted, our school is committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a culture of Courage, Compassion and Commitment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to take on a classroom teaching role across KS3 and KS4, with additional leadership responsibilities as Head of Key Stage 4 or 5, supported by a TLR 2A (3,527).
Key Stage Leadership Responsibilities
- Strategically lead the development and performance of a key stage in Mathematics
- Promote the ethos, aims and public image of the department
- Drive high standards of attainment, attendance, behaviour and engagement
- Oversee curriculum planning, teaching quality and assessment within the key stage
- Monitor student progress and implement effective interventions
- Support and mentor new teachers (ECTs/PGCE trainees)
- Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers
General Teaching Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive and inspiring Maths lessons
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress and achievements
- Uphold high expectations for student behaviour and academic success

- Attend staff meetings and INSET days, engaging in ongoing professional development
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and student welfare
