Pay: 85 - 100 per day
Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to help children in the classroom that struggle with the class work and need an extra hand at staying focused and on track?
A fantastic opportunity has recently become available for a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school in Slough. This position is to start as soon as possible.
The role as a Learning Support Assistant:
- To support students who struggle with their class work
- Facilitate a sun and friendly learning environment
- To provide support to the class teacher
- To help the class teacher prepare lesson materials and classroom boards
- To keep the classroom a tidy and presentable environment
- To encourage children to do their best
- Help manage classroom behaviour
- Listen to the children read and practice their phonics
The successful Learning Support Assistant:
- You will need to be calm and compassionate. Personality is everything!
- You must be able to take initiative well and problem solve
- Have some experience working with children, desirable but not essential
- You must be patient. Some students struggle with additional learning needs and need someone supportive to help them get through the school day
- You must understand the importance of safeguarding in schools
- Must have an enhanced DBS Check or be willing to apply for one
- Must have right to live/work in the UK - we not offer sponsorships
