We are seeking a dedicated Welfare Officer to join our client supporting the health and welfare of pupils. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first aid and welfare support to both students and staff.
  • Keep accurate records of pupils with ongoing health needs and assist in developing care plans for those with complex medical conditions.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats, including preparing reports, schedules, and daily logs.
  • Handle sensitive conversations with children, families, and external partners with empathy and professionalism.
  • Apply strong IT and interpersonal skills to support the smooth running of school operations.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Work independently and remain calm under pressure, contributing positively to the school’s supportive culture.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Confident IT user; experience with school systems like SIMS.net is a plus, though not essential.
  • Previous experience in a school office or similar setting is beneficial.
  • Discretion and the ability to manage sensitive information appropriately.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
