An outstanding primary school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and ambitious SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The Role

  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD and more)

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO

  • Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Building meaningful relationships with pupils, parents and staff

  • Gaining first-hand experience of classroom teaching and school life

  • Progression routes available into teacher training for the right candidate



Ideal Candidate

  • Degree holder (education-related or psychology background desirable but not essential)

  • Passionate about working with children with additional needs

  • Calm, patient and proactive with excellent communication skills

  • Committed to inclusive practice and eager to learn

  • Looking to start a long-term career in education
