Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including Superuser administration, preparation of delegated work packs, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Coordinate, schedule, and track all routine and preventive maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the team and management to plan outages in line with the business plan.
- Develop and implement an inspection and monitoring program to ensure equipment and plant performance is optimized, reducing the risk of incidents or failures.
- Organising and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Administer and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering
- A health and safety qualification such as an IOSH will be highly advantageous
Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge
The Maintenance Supervisor role would suit someone who has:
- Prior hands-on maintenance experience working with Mechanical, Electrical or C&I equipment
- Excellent knowledge of CMMS systems including implementation and development
- Prior experience working in heavy engineering environments such as Power, Steel, Cement, Pharmaceutical, COMAH, Paper Mills, etc
- Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers will also be considered for this opportunity
