Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including Superuser administration, preparation of delegated work packs, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and track all routine and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the team and management to plan outages in line with the business plan.
  • Develop and implement an inspection and monitoring program to ensure equipment and plant performance is optimized, reducing the risk of incidents or failures.
  • Organising and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Administer and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule



Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Ideally have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering
  • A health and safety qualification such as an IOSH will be highly advantageous



Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge

The Maintenance Supervisor role would suit someone who has:

  • Prior hands-on maintenance experience working with Mechanical, Electrical or C&I equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of CMMS systems including implementation and development
  • Prior experience working in heavy engineering environments such as Power, Steel, Cement, Pharmaceutical, COMAH, Paper Mills, etc
  • Royal/Merchant Navy Marine Engineers will also be considered for this opportunity
