Warehouse Operative

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £25,000 per year dependent on experience.

My client is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join them on a permanent basis.  The Warehouse Operative will ensure the efficient running of all warehouse functions.

Daily Responsibilities:

· Receiving and booking in all deliveries into the warehouse.

· Preparing goods to be sent to the factory and checking paperwork and quantities are correct.

· Movement of goods to and from the factory.

· Dispatching of all orders to the customer with efficient checking and dispatch of labels and delivery notes.

· Dealing with all courier related queries and managing the courier database and stock in the warehouse.

· Regular stock takes where needed

· Using transfer machinery and software to produce transfer and dispatch.

· Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and adheres to Health and Safety conditions at all times

· Managing the stock on shelves

· Assisting in the returns of goods to suppliers

· Assisting in quality checks of prior to despatch.

· Picking and packing orders.

Monday to Friday 0830 – 5pm
