About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Many of our roles are within mainstream primary schools, where you'll work closely with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will provide support on a 1:1 basis as well as with small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You'll assist with learning activities, promote inclusion, and collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and confident in their learning.

About You:
We are looking for TAs who are comfortable and motivated to work with SEND pupils, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a UK-based school (essential)

  • Minimum Level 2 (or above) in a child-related qualification

  • Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths

  • Based locally to Birmingham or surrounding areas

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
