Position: Full-Time, 5 Days a Week
Hours: 08:30 AM - 03:30 PM

They are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a student with SEND and Autism on a 1:1 basis in key stage one.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a student who has Autism and other special educational needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing personalized 1:1 support to a student with SEND and Autism.

Assisting with academic, social, and emotional development, helping the student to achieve their best.

Collaborating with the class teacher and other staff to deliver effective support.

Implementing tailored strategies to ensure the student can engage fully in the curriculum.

Promoting positive behavior and encouraging independence.

Assisting with the use of learning tools, resources, and techniques specific to the student's needs.

What We Are Looking For:

Proven experience supporting children with SEND and Autism.

A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and parents.

An understanding of the challenges faced by children with Autism and how to provide support tailored to their needs.

Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
