Health & Safety Manager
Location: East Harling (Fully Onsite)
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000

I'm working with a well-established client who is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take full responsibility for safety, compliance, and site standards at their East Harling operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and leading safety improvements across a busy, fast-moving environment.

The Role
As the Health & Safety Manager, you'll be the site's key contact for all H&S matters. You'll work closely with operational teams to maintain a safe working environment, ensure compliance with legislation, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all onsite Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Carrying out risk assessments, audits, and inspections
  • Leading accident/incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Keeping all documentation up to date (RAMS, COSHH, accident reports)
  • Delivering training, inductions, and toolbox talks
  • Working with managers to embed a strong safety culture
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK H&S legislation

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager or similar role
  • NEBOSH General Certificate is essential
  • Strong understanding of H&S legislation and best practice
  • Confident influencing skills with the ability to work with teams at all levels
  • Highly organised, proactive, and hands-on in your approach
