We are working with a well-established furniture manufacturer in the Furncare sector who are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead and drive their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for quality and efficiency in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of supervisors and production staff
• Implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high quality standards
• Monitor performance metrics and reporting, taking proactive action where required
• Collaborate with other departments including planning, quality, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience managing production in a manufacturing environment, ideally in furniture or related sectors
• Strong leadership skills with experience of motivating teams
• Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
• Health & Safety awareness and ability to ensure compliance across the production area
