RM Recruit are delighted to be working with an excellent organisation within the third sector who are actively seeking a proactive and confident Senior Management Accountant to join their team in Solihull on a full-time 6-12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation, offering a hybrid working arrangement with one day per week from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
  • Monthly payroll reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare budgets and forecasting
  • Variance analysis
  • Management of the team
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to drive financial performance
  • Support year-end processes and liaise with auditors as required
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified or Part Qualified Accountants (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a senior management accounting role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial systems and Excel
