Job Purpose

  • Preparation of tax returns for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations
  • Gather financial information and documentation required for tax return preparation
  • Review and verify client information to identify potential tax reliefs
  • Build strong rapport with clients, providing updates and proactively handling queries
  • Assist with developing tax planning strategies to minimise clients' tax liabilities
  • Monitor changes to tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities
  • Work collaboratively across the tax team to ensure a comprehensive service delivery
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes and procedures
  • Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development

  • Newly qualified or part-qualified with experience within UK practice
  • Qualified by experience would also be considered
  • Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organised, with the ability to managing own workload autonomously
  • Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
  • Self-motivated, professional and reliable
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
