A global business based near Solihull are seeking a detail oriented and methodical Data Protection Officer to join their inhouse legal team on a full time permanent basis (hybrid working). The successful candidate will come from a GDPR, Data Protection or compliance background and ideally have handles Subject Access Requests in previous roles. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is interested in the Data Protection area and is keen to progress and learn with further opportunities to do extra studies and qualifications. You will have strong IT skills, excellent communication skills and be a team player!
The successful candidate will be responsible for the below:
- Processing Data Subject Access Requests
- Assisting with reviewing and responding to data related complaints
- Supporting Legal Counsel with audits and data transfers
- Ensuring the Data Protection policy is adhered to
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Data Protection Laws within the UK and have experiences of processing and handling Data Subject Access Requests alongside experience with redacting of documents.
