Pre-School Leader - Earlswood, Solihull

Monarch Education are currently working alongside a Nursery School in the Earlswood Area of Solihull to find an experienced and Level 4 Qualified EYFS Practitioner to start ASAP. This will involve taking on the role of Pre-School Leader and overseeing the daily running of the pre school rooms throughout the setting. This role is working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) and is on an ongoing basis. This role could be eventually be permanent for the ideal candidate.

Requirements of applicant:

  • You will hold at least a Level 4 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Ideally have leadership experience but not essential
  • A Minimum of 5 years working in Early Years settings
  • Access to own vehicle as the nursery is not accessible via public transport
  • Have good organisational and planning skills

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing a high quality of education and learning to children ages 3 and 4
  • Responsible for making sure staff knowledge and skills are up to date
  • Keep up to date with the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Plan and help to deliver effective learning activities based on pupil needs
  • Be involved in the recruitment of other EYFS Qualified staff
  • Constantly monitor the quality of teaching and keep up to date with current best practice's
  • Meet with staff and parents regularly to ensure learning activities are tailored to each need a child has
  • Provide personal care to children where necessary
