Operating across the world, our client is a leader in its field and is looking to grow its finance team by adding an experienced Credit Controller who is confident to take ownership of all credit control duties in a standalone role.

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

  • Monitor an extensive number of accounts and their debts
  • Manage outstanding debts by contacting customers to request payments
  • Successfully recoup monies owned by maintaining regular contact with customers over the phone and email
  • Deal with incoming queries and quickly provide resolutions
  • Undertake credit checks for new customers and set credit limits
  • Support with ad-hoc finance work, such as covering cashbook
  • Identify potential problematic accounts and flag to seniors
  • Send out monthly statements
  • Create aged debt reports on a weekly basis
  • Monitor debtor balances

Credit Controller Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience gained as a Credit Controller
  • A proven track record of taking responsibility for credit control duties
  • Confident collecting monies owed, able to challenge in a polite manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner
  • Outstanding organisation skills, able to prioritise
  • IT literate and a confident user of Microsoft Excel
