Operating across the world, our client is a leader in its field and is looking to grow its finance team by adding an experienced Credit Controller who is confident to take ownership of all credit control duties in a standalone role.

Credit Controller Responsibilities:
- Monitor an extensive number of accounts and their debts
- Manage outstanding debts by contacting customers to request payments
- Successfully recoup monies owned by maintaining regular contact with customers over the phone and email
- Deal with incoming queries and quickly provide resolutions
- Undertake credit checks for new customers and set credit limits
- Support with ad-hoc finance work, such as covering cashbook
- Identify potential problematic accounts and flag to seniors
- Send out monthly statements
- Create aged debt reports on a weekly basis
- Monitor debtor balances
Credit Controller Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience gained as a Credit Controller
- A proven track record of taking responsibility for credit control duties
- Confident collecting monies owed, able to challenge in a polite manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner
- Outstanding organisation skills, able to prioritise
- IT literate and a confident user of Microsoft Excel
