Customer Service Representative

  • Location: Solihull
  • Job Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time (36 hours per week, Monday to Saturday) Saturdays on a rota basis.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Be the First Point of Contact: Warmly welcome customers in-branch and over the phone, ensuring their first interaction is positive.
  • Engage and Understand: Utilise insightful questions to uncover and understand customer needs, providing tailored solutions.
  • Listen and Tailor Solutions: Offer personalised solutions by listening carefully to each customer’s unique circumstances.
  • Proactive Outreach: Reach out to customers over the phone to identify their needs and discuss support options.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep customer records up-to-date and accurate using internal systems, focusing on identifying and supporting vulnerable customers.
  • Adhere to Policies: Understand and adhere to policies, standards, and controls, with training and coaching provided.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer interaction, whether in person or over the phone.
  • Background in retail, food & beverage, guest services, or health/care sectors is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain a 'one-team' mindset.
  • Agile and fast paced during busy periods, with excellent time management skills.
  • Desire and ability to grow, adapt, and change to meet business needs and priorities.
