Job Title: Export Documentation Clerk
Location: Solihull
Salary: 30,000 pro rata (part-time 10:00-15:00, Mon-Fri) or full-time available
We're working with a well-established, privately owned freight forwarding group based in Solihull who are looking to add an Export Documentation Clerk to their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with export documentation experience in ocean freight, looking for either part-time hours (10:00-15:00, Monday to Friday) or a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process export shipping documentation for ocean freight, including Bills of Lading and commercial invoices.
- Ensure all documentation complies with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
- Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, and customers to ensure smooth shipment processing.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all paperwork is filed in line with company procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the export team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in export documentation for ocean freight is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and customs documentation.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and carriers.
