Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ work in line with curriculum objectives.

  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policy.

  • Collaborate with the wider ICT/Computing department and contribute to school life.

 

Requirements

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
