We are looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join our clients' team, who isa leading waste management business. The successful candidate will supervise a team of 6 cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 6 cleaners, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Oversee water removal from floors and ensure areas are dried and safe, preparing for any necessary repairs.
- Ensure cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas is carried out regularly and effectively.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain site hygiene and safety standards.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to the cleaning team.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies at all times.
- Report maintenance issues and work collaboratively with other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning supervision or team leadership.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties as required.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards in a cleaning or industrial environment.
- Flexible and dependable with a proactive attitude.
