SF are working with a brilliant manufacturing business who are looking for a Senior HR Officer to come and join their fast-paced team in South Birmingham. We're looking for a proactive and experienced Senior HR Officer to join our team at Elmdon Plant. In this role, you'll support the delivery of our HR strategy, manage payroll and recruitment processes, and help drive a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support managers with HR advice, absence management, and ER cases
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding activities
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and maintain employee records (GDPR compliant)
  • Monitor HR KPIs (headcount, absence, turnover)
  • Coordinate training and development in line with L&D strategy
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need:

  • CIPD Level 7 (is ideal)
  • Strong HR experience, ideally in manufacturing
  • Confident with Excel and HR data/reporting
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
  • Paying up to £45K salary - office based
