The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will have the following duties:
-Work with AME team to create, develop and test new processes and equipment.
-Manage multiple suppliers of tooling and capital ensuring timing and cost targets are met.
-Sign off new equipment including the management of run rates and capability studies both in plant and at toolmaker.
The Person
Educated to a minimum of HNC level or holding considerable experience in a relevant role in first tier automotive you will have the following experience:
-Knowledge of AIAG & VDA 7 step structure for PFMEAs.
-Experience in a fast pace just in time or just in sequence environment.
-Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on IT software.
-Experience of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing processes.
-Experience in AutoCAD is advantageous.
