We have an opportunity with a well-established organisation within the financial services sector, with a focus on delivering straightforward consumer finance solutions that support responsible borrowing. Working in partnership with a range of recognised UK retailers and brands, they help customers make informed financial choices when managing their purchases.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support one of their key business areas. This role covers four main pillars of partnership:

  • Strategic Partner - anticipate workforce needs and align people strategy with business goals

  • Business Partner - support recruitment, organisational change, performance management, and compensation cycles

  • Human Partner - support employee development, engagement, and career progression

  • Transversal Partner - contribute to wider HR initiatives and cross-functional projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations matters and organisational change processes

  • Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and relevant legislation

  • Drive engagement by supporting the organisation's listening strategy and acting on feedback

  • Work alongside the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure accurate role mapping and market alignment

  • Keep HR policies up to date and aligned with best practice

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture

Skills & Experience

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)

  • Broad HR generalist background with strong ER experience

  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law

  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills

  • Able to work with discretion, professionalism, and independence

  • High levels of energy and initiative
