Job Title: IT Project Manager
Job Type: Contract
Location: West Midlands (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of IT work-packages within wider business programmes. You'll ensure high-quality delivery on time and within budget, liaise with cross-functional teams, third parties, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT work-packages from initiation to closure
- Manage scope, risk, issues, and change effectively
- Lead project teams and coordinate third-party resources
- Ensure quality, compliance, and proper documentation (SharePoint/Teams)
- Maintain strong communication with business unit stakeholders
- Drive delivery efficiency through daily team coordination and status reporting
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in IT Project Management or related roles (Developer, BA)
- Proven track record delivering complex IT projects
- Strong understanding of systems integration, SDLC, QA, and testing
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficient in PM tools and methodologies (Prince2, APM, etc.)
- Skilled in budgeting, risk management, and delivery tracking
- Ability to lead diverse technical teams and manage third-party vendors
Certifications & Requirements:
- Prince2 Practitioner or APM certified
- Must be eligible for BPSS security clearance (SC may be required)
