The business has a strong reputation for sustainability, specialist services, and long-term growth. It's an exciting time to join as they shift towards a more insight-led approach to marketing and proposition development.

The RoleThis newly created position sits within the Group Marketing function and reports into the Head of Insight. You'll play a key role in developing a consistent and commercial understanding of the business's customer base, to support brand, digital, and proposition teams. This is a strategic, insight-led role focused on driving customer-first decision making across the organisation.Key Responsibilities* - Build a comprehensive understanding of customer behaviours, needs, and segments.* - Prioritise insight work based on commercial value and strategic goals.* - Design and commission qualitative and quantitative research projects.* - Identify knowledge gaps in customer data and generate actionable insight.* - Develop personas, customer journeys, and insight-led narratives.* - Deliver findings through engaging formats - presentations, decks, short videos, etc.* - Maintain competitor and market intelligence.* - Manage research agency relationships and insight project delivery.* - Work cross-functionally with analytics, brand, content, product, and media teams.

Skills & Experience* - Strong grasp of consumer behaviour and segmentation techniques.* - Experience commissioning and running qualitative and quantitative research.* - Familiarity with tools like Excel for basic data analysis and trend tracking.* - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.* - Ability to align insight with commercial and strategic goals.* - Client-side experience preferred; financial services background a bonus but not essential.
