- Support the Finance Director with admin tasks like filing, data entry, and invoice input.
- Process and scan purchase orders and invoices into the finance system.
- Handle finance-related queries from staff, clients, or other contacts.
- Manage event/project balances, process payments, and close accounts.
- Prepare and send regular invoices and statements.
- Draft and send standard finance letters.
- Monitor purchase ledger and cashbook, flagging any issues.
- Assist with other admin or finance tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role.
- A high degree of self-management and initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Experience using IRIS software would be advantageous.
- Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
