The Senior Digital Project Manager to report into the Portfolio Manager will take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects (typically with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies). Ensures that effective project control, change control, risk management and testing processes are maintained. Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders. They will oversee all internal delivery teams as well as any external partners/suppliers delivering as part of the project.
The Senior Digital Project Manager will have line management responsibilities for Digital Project Managers and Junior Digital Project Managers.
Experience Required:
- Significant project experience or Digital Project management of IT Change and IT projects as a Developer, Business Analyst or IT Project Manager
- Skills and knowledge acquired through Development, Technical Design, or Technical Project Management
- Foundational understanding of Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design
- Ability to anticipate and build contingency plans
- Good Project Management skills including: Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Work-package Planning, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans, Training Plans, Team Management
- Experience managing teams delivering IT work-packages/projects and involving multiple software application integrators
- Knowledge of application development and system architecture.
Must be willing to undergo BPSS security clearance. In some cases, SC may be required Current Prince 2 Practitioner certification or APM Certification.
Hybrid role, expectation of minimum of 2 days week either at a corporate office or a customer site
