Van Drivers

Van Drivers required for our busy Ilton based company with immediate starts. Ongoing work until January as a minimum. Delivering to hospitality's and stores on set routes. Vehicles pre-loaded.

Location:

• Ilton, Somerset.

Pay Rate:

• 12.93ph for the first 45hrs.
• 13.93ph Overtime after 45hrs.
• 19.39ph for 6th Shift worked in week

Hours:

• 40 hours per week,
• Monday to Sunday (30-minute unpaid lunch).

The Best Connection are currently seeking a reliable and professional Van Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, safely and efficiently to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cargo securely and carefully
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
• Maintain the cleanliness and road worthiness of the van
• Complete all required delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately
• Adhere to traffic laws and all safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in a similar delivery or driving role
• Good knowledge of local routes and road safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
