Building Surveyor 

Somerset

Contract role, 8am-5pm, £27 - £32 per hour

With offices in London, Manchester, and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a social housing maintenance company, who are looking for Building Surveyors based in Somerset.  

Day to Day duties of the Building Surveyor:  

  • Carry out technical planned maintenance surveys in a social housing setting 

  • Providing technical advice and ensuring compliance with building regulations and health & safety requirements. 

  • Building strong working relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal teams. 

  • Write up technical reports, giving recommendations for completing works. 

 

 

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):  

  • Have experience carrying out Kitchen, Bathroom, roofing, window and cyclical maintenance surveys in a social housing setting  

  • Relevant qualifications / experience in building surveying  

  • Knowledge of upcoming legislations surrounding the building surveying industry
