- Experience in managing NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract
- Must hold a UK driving licence and must have a car, as the sites are generally remote and not accessible via public transport.
- Working hours: 37.5 per week over 4 days Monday to Thursday 9.375 hours per day with a 20 min lunch break. Hinkley site hour's are 07.25-17.00
- Attendance on site is 3 days a week minimum.
- Site / Office locations include:Â EDF Offices in Gloucester, EDF offices in Bristol, NRS offices in Bristol, Hinkley Point A & BÂ
Responsible for the implementation of project risk management procedure
Responsible for ensuring that risk controls for operational & corporate risks are effective
Responsible for identifying risks that need to be escalated within the Major Programme Directorate
• Lead on the management of project & programme risk and assurance across a forecast Capital Plan of circa. £125m.
• Lead on the control & assurance of programme & project risk allowance with value of circa. £20m
• Provide coaching and support on project risk, issue and opportunity management to circa. 34 project delivery professionals
Principal Accountabilities

• The principal accountabilities below are for the programme and related projects:
• Accountable for the programme risk, issue & opportunity management processes and procedures
• Accountable for the project risk, issue & opportunity management processes and procedures
• Accountable for the Risk & Issue management plan for the programme
• Accountable for producing insights and reporting on project & programme risks across the portfolio to influence continuous improvement opportunities
• Provide support to project delivery teams in quantifying risk on projects within the programme
• Take the lead on providing assurance that the risk controls are being implemented and are effective
• Provide assurance that change controls are being requested and implemented in accordance with the process and are reflective of the identified risks
• Work with the project teams to facilitate project level risk workshops on a regular basis to ensure the risk registers are updated and reflective of the project
• Work with the wider business and the Programme team to facilitate programme risk workshops on a regular basis to ensure the risk register are updated
• Carry out external benchmarking on risk management best practice to identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for project & programme risk management
• Identify preferred software and develop a business case for risk management software
