Trade Supervisor - Welding/Fabrication

Morson Talent currently have excellent opportunities for experienced Trade Supervisors (Fabrication/Welding) to join our client's existing site team at Hinkley Point C on a permanent basis.

You'll become part of the Nuclear New Build MEH Alliance at Hinkley Point C - the UK's largest construction infrastructure Project in Somerset. You will join a team striving for excellence and playing a pivotal role in the delivery of complex piping and cabling systems to the nation's first-ever 3rd Generation nuclear power plant.

Role

• Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE frontline leadership role, supporting and encouraging a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
• Effectively guide a team to achieve high productivity whilst prioritising safety
• Ensure efficient project completion, identify areas for improvement and provide feedback
• Effectively transmit instructions, specifications and regulations to support optimal team performance
• Guarantee adherence to all statutory, company, industry and client requirements
• Deliver the agreed work scope within the established timeframe

Job Specific:

• ECSA Pay rates
• Normal Hours: £31.92
• OTA: £44.69
• OTB: £57.46
• Weekly lodge allowance (conditions apply)
• Up to 15% bonus on all hours worked - Project Milestones Payments

You will have:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor within an engineering project
• Proven track record within the Nuclear power (preferred but not essential)
• Experience of working on major construction projects
• Relevant Skills Card (where required)
• Ability to pass BPSS Security Vetting and Project Medical

Qualifications

• Relevant professional accreditation (City & Guilds in relevant discipline)
• Current CCNSG Safety Passport
• LATS, SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
