Following on from a brand new partnership with a global leading manufacturing company, YT Technologies are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients high performing Manufacturing team.
What you'll be tasked with
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all site machinery and infrastructure
- Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
- Support operations by resolving mechanical issues that impact production efficiency
- Collaborate with others in the Manufacturing Systems Engineering department and other teams to improve reliability and resolve complex faults
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and site procedures
- Communicate with departments to keep them up to date with maintenance plans and machine handovers
- Assist with commissioning and upgrades of machinery and facilities
- Assist with set up and configuration of site facilities
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Rapid, confident decision-making in urgent situations
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hands-on experience with equipment design and build
- Commitment to safe working practices
The role is 8.30am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 1pm finish on Fridays.
The position comes with an 8% bonus and an array of other benefits and features.
