My client is a well established medium sized manufacturer of motors, transmission, and controls. Established over 25 years ago my client are a forward-thinking company continuously adapting to meet the demands of their customers. Due to their extensive growth and their ability to supply across a various sector they are looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to their Quality team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Control professional to work within the goods inwards and manufacturing areas of the business whilst producing miniature power transmission and control products.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Supporting functions across the Quality department (calibration, ISIR, Audits).
  • Working closely with the manufacturing department to ensure quality expectations are being met and documented.
  • Support the Head of Quality with continual improvement projects.
  • Carryout inspections using various methods including CMM against internal and customer requirements.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into quality database.
  • Ensuring incoming materials, parts and supply chain components are at a high standard.
  • Being part of the investigation team involved in non-conformities and ensuring timely resolution using 8D.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

  • Flexible work attitude towards tasks and duties.
  • Experience working within quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical/electronic skills are advantageous.
  • Able to read engineering drawings and use measurement tools.
  • Comfortable in using or programming a CMM/VMM is essential.
