Role: KS3- KS4 Teacher
Location: NG20
Position: Long term supply/ Permanent depending on candidate
Mayfield Recruitment are recruiting for a class teacher for our clients SEN KS3 & KS4 learners in core academics in the NG20 area on a long term supply or permanent basis depending on the candidate.
The Role for the Secondary Teacher:
• You will support the delivery of the national curriculum.
• You will be working with SEND learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.
• The working hours for this position are Monday - Friday 08:30 -16:00 term time only (pay a 12month salary)
• Qualifications and Experience needed for the Secondary Teacher:
• You must be qualified to teach in education of children , or equivalent and hold a QTS – desirable
• An expert in your field with substantial experience
Ability to display a wide range of teaching methods to engage learners.
• Applicants will be working in a class of at least 15 learners with SEN and supported in class with teaching assistances or HLTAs .
• The role will be to follow a national curriculum ethos but adapting it to the learners abilities.
