Job Title: Prototype Wirer
Job Type: Contract 6 month
Location: Witney
Rate: £15.00-£18.00 per hour PAYE
Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prototype Wirer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in wiring and assembly, particularly in prototype or low-volume production environments. You will be working on cutting-edge projects, helping to build and wire bespoke electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities for the prototype wirer:
- Build and wire prototype electrical assemblies to engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and schematics
- Soldering, crimping, and assembling cable looms and harnesses
- Fault-finding and resolving wiring issues during builds
- Liaising with design and engineering teams to support ongoing development work
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Skills & Requirements for this prototype wirer:
- Proven experience as a prototype wirer, electrical assembler, or similar
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Excellent soldering, crimping, and hand tool skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused
- Background in Automotive (Ideal)
