We're recruiting for a Site Agent to join a major highways improvement project (A382, Newton Abbot) on behalf of a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor working with Devon County Council.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager in day-to-day site operations
Manage direct staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver works safely, on time and to budget
Oversee programme planning, method statements, and permits
Liaise with local stakeholders and third parties
Work closely with the commercial team on reporting, cost capture and change control
Maintain accurate site records, diaries and quality documentation
Requirements:
Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
CSCS & SMSTS (essential)
Strong highways or infrastructure project experience
Proven leadership and organisational skills
