Senior Electronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to support a high-security engineering programme delivering advanced electro-mechanical systems. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team on complex projects that contribute to national security and defence capability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electronics Engineer within defence, aerospace, marine, or oil & gas environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic system design, including schematics, PCB design, and manufacturing documentation
  • Ability to lead and provide technical support to multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience in design reviews, compliance checks, and adherence to industry standards
  • Current SC Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • UK work authorisation required

Desirable:

  • Background in maritime or marine defence systems
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, configuration management, and lifecycle support
  • Experience producing calculations, technical reports, and design documentation
  • Ability to support bids and proposals, including technical estimates and supplier/customer engagement
  • Degree (or HND/HNC with significant experience) in a relevant engineering discipline
