Location: Newcastle

Salary: £43,000 + OT

Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Electrical biased engineer to join our innovative, growing team! If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love playing a key role in keeping things running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As part of the team, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and improving both production equipment and site facilities. From planned maintenance to troubleshooting, your hands-on expertise will ensure everything runs seamlessly and safely.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Carry out planned maintenance, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to make processes even better.
  • Keep the site infrastructure and facilities in top condition.
  • Solve problems quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A time-served Electrical biased Engineer with good mechanical experience.
  • HNC or NVQ qualification in Electrical engineering - 18th Edition is a must!
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a food or FMCG environment.
  • Exposure and experience maintaining automated systems.
  • Familiarity with food safety and Health & Safety regulations.
